Watercolor Guest Portraits

The wedding favors you didn’t know you needed. Watercolor Guest Portraits make for great rehearsal dinner or wedding reception entertainment. Watch your guests go from interested to enthralled as the night goes on! Guests have a great time watching their own portraits be made and then get to take handmade artwork home with them to keep as a memory of your event for years to come.

Guest Portrait Packages Include:

5x7 inch watercolor & pen sketches of guests, painted in a loose, gestural style
All finished paintings placed into a clear, plastic casing for protection
Choice of date, “title” of event, or no words to be included in the guest portraits (examples below)

Please note:
- Three artists work under KM Fine Art Studios as live portrait painters. All three artists have a similar realistic pen & watercolor style. If you would like to request a specific artist as your guest portrait painter (Kat, Sarah, or Alec), you may do so at the time of booking but there is no guarantee that the requested artist will be your live painter.

Live Paintings of Wedding Guests

KM Fine Art Studios will an hour before the scheduled start time and paint throughout the event. We supply a 4ft, 6ft, or 8ft table (depending on the number of artists), chairs, and black tablecloth as well as all the materials needed for the portraits such as the paints and watercolor paper. If the clients have their table, chairs or linen they would rather us use to better fit their aesthetic, we are more than happy to use what is supplied for us. The client has a choice of date, “title” of event, or color detailing to be included on each guest portrait. Guests will come up throughout the night to get their photo taken, which will then be turned into a watercolor & pen fashion sketch. When each portrait is completed and dry, they will be enclosed in a plastic covering to keep safe for guests. Guests can pick up their finished portraits throughout the event or wait until the end, and all remaining portraits not picked up by the end of the night will be left with the contracted client or someone they trust.
*single portraits take about 4-5 minutes to complete while a couple’s portraits takes about 8-10 minutes to complete.
