About Kat
Kathryn McGregor has always been fascinated by perception and what makes each of us remember specific moments. Interested in the way that luminosity & movement can change mood, Kat’s oil paintings expose the complexity of perception over mere appearance. In her current personal work, and in her time as a live wedding painter, Kat is exploring the idea of watching moments unveil themselves in front of her — watching others interact from a distance, experiencing the beauty of connection from afar.
Kathryn (Henry) McGregor (b. 1998, Peru, Illinois) is a live wedding painter that currently lives in Chandler, Arizona with her husband. She graduated in 2021 from Hope College in Holland, Michigan with her BA in Studio Art and Psychology.
