Live Wedding Painting is a unique & entertaining luxury experience for you and your guests where a customized painting will be made in person on the night of your wedding. Your painting is a representation of one of the best days of your lives - when you look at it, the painting should feel like your wedding day. Paintings are unique from photographs—there are imperfections & interpretations... I’m there to capture the essence of your day.

I consider myself somewhere between a “realism” painter and a “romanticism” painter, meaning that I am accurate with the way I paint but love to enhance pieces that I think would create mood or feeling in the work. If that’s the style for you then you’ve come to the right place! The most important part about picking your wedding painter is that the artist’s style aligns with your own tastes and preferences. This is, after all, something that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Artistic Style

Kat paints in a realistic style with romanticism flair. She is accurate in the way she paints people, with near perfect proportions, creating a true likeness to her couple’s portraits. She is very observant and captures every little detail that you spent months pining over in the pre-wedding process. With this in mind, Kat also accentuates the mood by emphasizing certain colors, shapes, and patterns in the background in a painterly/loose way, creating an atmosphere that replicates that of your wedding day.

Personality

Kat is a hopeless romantic at heart, which makes her a great wedding painter! She has a very gentle but approachable personality that makes her the perfect person for guests to come up to and ask questions about her process, the painting, or anything else. She adores educating others on the reasoning behind her actions with paint and welcomes any & all questions or comments with an exciting smile & candid reply. She may even pass her paint brush to some interested guests!
