22x28 in. | Live Wedding Painting, Vows | Kari & Pablo specifically asked for their vows to be painted, to highlight the desert plants in the foreground, and to include the drapery above them and some of the chandelier.

22x28 in. | Live Wedding Painting, First Kiss | Nikki & Alex asked for their first kiss to be painted & wanted to highlight the chuppah behind them but gave me free rein on most everything else.

18x24 in. | Live Wedding Painting, Cake Cutting Scene | Jonathan & Megan asked for a cake cutting scene. They wanted to make the mountains bigger and more noticeable in the background so we moved the trees a little bit out of the way & highlighted their surroundings. This was a posed painting because they wanted the scene to be in daylight and their cake cutting wasn't until later in the night.

18x24 in. | Live Wedding Painting, First Kiss | This painting was a gift to the couple from the brother of the groom. It was given early enough that I got to speak to Brooke about what she wanted in the painting. They asked for a dip kiss down the aisle with their pup Remi, highlighting the chuppah and mountains in the background. Unfortunately, the dip kiss didn't go as planned so I had them pose for the kiss later on and this pose is what we decided that I should paint!

24x36 in. | Live Wedding Painting, Ceremony Vows | Blake & Emily wanted a vow painting of them in front of the red rocks of Sedona. It was very important to them that I highlight the scenery, so we decided to make them a little smaller on the canvas to capture the grandeur of the rocks.

22x28 in. | Live Wedding Painting, Aisle Exit | Ryan & Jasmine did not have a preference of the moment, but they did want a ceremony painting that highlighted the joy of their day (and wanted to include their pup). I chose to go with this aisle exit moment, they seemed so happy and excited to be married and I just felt like it captured them so well.

24x36 in. | Live Wedding Painting, Aisle Dip Kiss | Drew & Maddie wanted their dip kiss at the end of the aisle painted. They wanted to include their guests and the bride surprised the groom with a little reference to his late father in the background.

18x24 in. | Live Wedding Painting, Venue Grounds Scene | Morgan & Zach wanted a posed portrait of them on their wedding day with their two dogs during golden hour.

18x24 in. | Live Wedding Painting, First Kiss | Chris and Sam wanted their "I do kiss" (view straight on) with no guests, highlighting the trees in the background.

22x28 in. | Live Wedding Painting, Cake Cutting | This was a styled shoot in which I got to choose how the couple was posed and what scene I got to paint. I chose to paint a cake cutting scene with the couple all snuggled in, highlighting the glowing trees in the background.

22x28 inch | Live Wedding Painting, Venue Grounds Scene | This was another styled shoot wedding where I got to choose the moment and composition of the painting.

24x36 inch | Live Wedding Painting, First Kiss | Alea & Michael wanted a ceremony painting. They decided to let me choose on the day of between a first kiss painting or an aisle exit painting but did have preferences on the background. The scene behind them was a fenced in yard so they asked if I could change the view to be lake Havasu with the mountains in the background (the view from the other side of the house). They also wanted to include the pelo verde trees behind the ceremony site as well as the necklace that Alea was wearing on the day-of.

24x36 in. | Live Wedding Painting, Ceremony Vows | This painting was a surprise to Kennedy and Taylor from the mother of the bride. A ceremony painting was requested, highlighting the desert scenery.

24x36 in. | Live Wedding Painting, First Kiss | Teresa & Mike requested a first kiss painting with some alterations to the background. The scene behind them was not so grand so they asked if I could shift the mountains the be behind them in the painting. They also asked to include a little reference to the mansion they were at (which was behind us) so I included that on the right hand side. They also asked me to include a little reference to the city of Phoenix in the background and a petal toss!

24x36 in. | Live Wedding Painting, First Kiss | Vianey & Carson asked for a first kiss painting in front of the gazebo. The hazy sun made for such a gorgeous painting!
22x28 in. | Live Wedding Painting, First Dance | Jason gave Julia this painting as a gift. They got married in January so he gave her this present over Christmas so they could both be on the final month-out call with me. They decided they wanted a first dance painting but posed in front of the mansion their reception was at along with their little micro car that Jason restored for the event. This painting involved many different reference photos and a lot of creativity!

18x24 in. | Live Wedding Painting, Venue Grounds Scene | Hunter and Jacob wanted a venue grounds scene with lots of greenery. I saw the light coming through the trees when taking this shot and knew it was going to be a great painting!

It is the greatest reminder of the best day of our lives.
“My husband surprised me with a live wedding painter (Kat at KM Fine Art Studios) as a Christmas gift for our wedding this past January! Kat did such an amazing job recreating our wedding day into a beautiful masterpiece that now hangs up in our doorway! It is the greatest reminder of the best day of our lives.
We had many moving parts to the painting- we wanted our venue in the painting, which was a massive mansion, a car that we had fixed up for the wedding, and us posing during our first dance. Kat took on this project with the best attitude and she was very reasonable for the amount of work she put into the painting and her gifted talents!
Our guests absolutely LOVED having her there throughout the night so they could watch the painting go from a blank canvas to such an exquisite piece of art, and Kat was able to interact with our guests in a polite and respectful way as the guests had asked her many questions. If you are wondering if you should book KM Fine Art Studios for your live wedding painter, the answer is yes!! Kat made our day so special, guests still talk about the painting to this day, and it will be such a unique touch to your day!”
