On this particular April day, we decided to head over to The Meadows in Edinburgh. These meadows are famous there, & for good reason. They only bloom from mid-April to mid-May but the entire field is filled with these gorgeous cherry blossoms. We were so fortunate to be able to catch them during their peak! The air was brisk, and at times it looked like it was going to rain, but it was too beautiful not to paint. So, Alvi & I painted for hours and I finished not one, but two pieces there.
