I went on a plein air painting trip with a few other live painter friends and we had a great time exploring Port St Joe, Florida & painting all day, every day. On our last day we took a trip to St Joseph's Peninsula State Park to paint at sunset. We had to race the sun a little bit with this painting so by the time we were packing up it was almost dark out. The sunset with the marsh made for a gorgeous scene. I wish I started this painting just a little bit later to catch those colors in the sky!
