I went on a plein air painting trip with a few other live painter friends and we had a great time exploring Port St Joe, Florida & painting all day, every day. This painting of a marsh on Cape San Blas was a fun challenge for me since I have never had the chance to paint one before. The muddy purple looks almost like it could be water but it really is the richness from the mud in the marsh. Overall, this trip gave me so many great opportunities to try painting new things!
