"Laurel Lake"

Welcome to another episode of hikes that my husband brings me on that end up being way different than I thought they were going to be (lol)! After spending the day before hiking 15 miles, we decided to take this day easy (or so I thought). My husband really wanted to go see an alpine lake and this one ended up being the next best thing. That being said, this wasn't a crazy long hike, but it was extremely steep and very overgrown. Not only were we very tired from the hike the day before but we were very paranoid about bears popping out of nowhere on this very isolated trail. We were yelling the whole way up and down in hopes that we would not run into a bear. We finally made it to the lake, which was beautiful, and we were the only ones there. What a view! (And, spoiler alert, we made it out alive)
