I went on a plein air painting trip with a few other live painter friends and we had a great time exploring Port St Joe, Florida & painting all day, every day. This painting was created at Barnacle Beach. It was raining most of the day so we had to get creative with the locations we could paint at. We found a spot on the pier where there was some cover from the rain. It was cold but a beautiful day. As you can see in the painting here, there is some salt from the sea that got on the painting here. I think it really added to the moodiness of the painting.
