When camping at Signal Mountain Campground in Grand Teton National Park, we found this little beach that we could walk to. It became one of our favorite spots in the park -- so quiet and maybe the most beautiful lake I've ever been to. I decided to paint there on our first night, capturing the mountains and all the colors in them. The rain came on and off and I had to constantly put away my paints and take them back out. But I'd say that sometimes the rainy days make for the best paintings.
